I think I am a lucky man as I can finish this blog assignment before the deadline.  I think this assignment benefit us a lot.

As once you find information to wrtie blog you can leran lots of extra information and knowledge. Writting blog, i think  it is good for memory knowledge. in  addition it is a good way to store information.

the most important thing is you can shared information with others. once you write the same topic with your classmate, you can find others opinion about the same problem form their blog.

• Design of product:  There are so many different pizzas on Pizza Hut’s menu, It always give new type or new taste for customer, not only pizza, but also pasta, dessert, drink, etc.

• Marketting & Sales: There are three segments comprised the pizza restaurant, the first one is eat in, secons one is the carryout,and the third one is delivery-home service. Pizza hut put a lot attentiom on the two area.

• Customer service: Pizza provide an execellent after sales service, as is known that , once customer receive their order, if the hot simple is not exist ,they can ask one more for free.

Review of Assignment 2

The assignment 1 demos finished on thursday, althought my assignment did not run good during the demos, I think I still learned a lot from this assignment.

• defined and name the variable and you method is very important. once you build a xml, it may be used and called by the HTML or javascript, so once you make mistake in any document your program can not run
• spelling is very important
• always use the debuger.

Pubnet is an EDI service which is designed and used by book industry, it aim to streamline the book ordering process, improve efficiency, and reduce cost. Generally, people and business can download documents to select different EDI standards. Then, Pubnet would orgnaize these requarement or data, and give user feedbacks. I think this application should be fmous to most people in the world, but i still want to  menction some benefits it bring to us.

• eBay made a lot of acquisitions which strengthened it in different field. For example, the Skype can help it in communication.

• There a lot of acquisitions made by eBay, each of these acquisitions can benefit it in different field. eBay’s community which made up by over 100 million people all over world give it newest information about the item which customer really want.

• eBay has a Trust and Safety team which respond for the safety work of the market. eBay get feedback from user to consider the reputation of people. eBay has a buyer protection as well as Spoof (Fraudulent) Web Site Protection for user. Spoof email maybe is the fraud that eBay users most susceptible.

new web protocol SPDY

SPDY is a new web protcol which is proposed by google. This web protcol can be used to transpor web content. SPDY is supposed to be the replacement for the HTTP(Hypertext Transfer Protocol). The SPDY will a lot of benefits

• save time : SPDY can reduce web page load time.
• transition relatively smooth
• SPDY can manage multiple sessions at once
• SPDY knows the browser will need

There are also some requirement once people want to adopted this new protocol.

• unfolded into name/value pairs like other HTTP headers.
• Duplicate header names are not allowed.
• User-agents are expected to support gzip and deflate compression

Yahoo pipes

Yahoo Pipes is a web application created by Yahoo, It provided a interface which allowed user program and manage their own web application even they do not have any programming background and knowledge. I think that is the reason why it is called a mashup.

In Yahoo Pipes, people can manage their data mashup with web feed, RSS, and web page and others web applications as you can think.  Information from different source also canbe shared in yahoo pipes.  If you instered in such web application you can go to my pipes and have a look.

New features

Todays, there are more and more new features which you can find in search engines via internet. Most of them will benefit peoole’ life, in this paper i will brief introduce some useful function which we may experience from these feature from the search engine.

It is not a suprise that you can use search engine to find your destination, some search engine such as google even provide with a video reference  ahout the place which your search for.

You can search the video you like via most of search engine as well as what you do in youtube.

Book:

Although, some times you can not get the whole book  when trying this new feature, but you can always gain the inforamation like author or publish year about want you search.

Music

You can search the music you like via most of search engine.(maybe this is not a “new” feature for search engine.)

Dictionary

Google now provide this service. You can translate your language to most of the language in the word. Additionlly, you can use the this function to search the word which you can not understand.

Shopping

With this feature , people can easily gain the shopping information.

In the furture, instead  of searching information form publication people perfer do it in the search engine such as google.

 

 

Research in RSS

RSS is ususlly understanded as “Really Simple Syndication” or ” Rich Site Summary; acturally it is a set of  web feed formats which is used to publish “update work” such as blog, and news.

Conceptually,  RSS is a format which based on XML; it allows hyperlinks, accomanied with other information. This function can help people to decide wether folllow the link.

In addition, it can also help user’s computer fetch the information, that all the links  people which interestd can be saved.

A website need  a feed . A feed consist of  a list items, which  are identified by links. For example:
